  So im sitting in there around noon having a Guiness about to leave, and the owner comes out of the kitchen and talks to me. I ask him "Whats good here" he tells me a few things but what stood out to me was the buffalo chicken rolls. I said "WTF is a Buffalo chicken roll?" He says hold on ill give u a sample. I expected maybe 1 roll. He comes back 15 minutes later with a friggin full plate of rolls lol. Im like... WOW OK. BANGIN service and the bartender was hot and friendly.

  Hidden delight. I went to college nearby but when I was there Bank St. didn't have anything like this. Ridiculously good clam chowder to start with that was topped with bacon lardons. Huge portion. Then the entree; I got the short ribs over mac n cheese and this was to die for. Both items were delicious, and paired well with the token asparagus. My dinner companion had the steak and raved about it. My pre-dinner Manhattan was sublime, and I appreciate that they asked me how I wanted it. The dessert options sounded great but we were too full. Small room but it was a quiet night so there was space. Very friendly and helpful staff.
